Claude

Add Alviss AI as a custom connector in Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop) for Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, sign in with your Alviss AI account, and enable it in a chat.

MCP only works for teams that the Alviss AI staff has enabled it for. See Availability.

In Claude, the Alviss AI MCP server is added as a custom connector. Once added, it's available in claude.ai and in Claude Desktop.

How you add it depends on your Claude plan:

  • Pro and Max: add the connector yourself. See Pro and Max.
  • Team and Enterprise: an organization Owner adds the connector once, then each member connects it. See Team and Enterprise.

Pro and Max

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then select Add custom connector.
  1. Enter a name, such as Alviss AI.
  2. Enter the server URL https://api.alviss.io/v1/mcp, then click Continue.
  1. Claude shows the authentication settings it detected. Click Continue.
  2. Set the authentication options:
    • Authentication: Sign in now.
    • OAuth client: Use Claude's published identity (Recommended).
    • Request headers: leave empty.
  1. Click Add.
  2. Sign in with your Alviss AI account and accept the requested access. See Authentication.

Team and Enterprise

Add the Connector (Owners)

Only organization Owners and Primary Owners can add the connector. On Enterprise, members with a custom role that can manage Libraries can add it too.

  1. Go to Organization settings > Connectors.
  2. Click Add, hover over Custom, then select Web.
  1. Enter a name, such as Alviss AI, and the server URL https://api.alviss.io/v1/mcp, then click Continue.
  2. Claude shows the authentication settings it detected. Click Continue.
  3. Set OAuth client to Use Claude's published identity (Recommended) and leave Request headers empty.
  4. Click Add.

The connector is now available to everyone in your organization. Adding it doesn't connect anyone's Alviss AI account. Each member connects separately.

Connect Your Account (Members)

  1. Go to Customize > Connectors.
  2. Find Alviss AI. It has a Custom label.
  3. Click Connect.
  1. Sign in with your Alviss AI account and accept the requested access. See Authentication.

Use Alviss AI in a Chat

  1. In a chat, click the + button at the lower left of the message box.
  2. Select Connectors and turn on Alviss AI.
  1. Ask Claude about your Alviss AI data. Claude asks for your approval before it uses an Alviss AI tool.

Claude connects to Alviss AI from Anthropic's cloud, not from your computer. This also applies to Claude Desktop.

Disconnect

Go to Customize > Connectors, open Alviss AI, and click Disconnect.

Claude Code

Add the Alviss AI MCP server to Claude Code with claude mcp add, sign in with your Alviss AI account through /mcp, and manage or clear authentication.

GitHub Copilot CLI

Add the Alviss AI MCP server to GitHub Copilot CLI with /mcp add, copilot mcp add or mcp-config.json, and sign in with your Alviss AI account through /mcp auth.
